We are guided by the firm belief that no child should grow up alone. Sadly, an estimated 1 in 10 children worldwide grows up without the loving care they need; though in DRC the 1in10 figure appears higher. Therefore, their protection is at the centre of our actions. To safeguard them, we do not tolerate any form of abuse, exploitation, neglect or violation of their privacy.We are committed to creating and maintaining a caring and protective environment for them.
Advocating for our children, we stand up and help to inform communities and decision-makers about their rights. We encourage children to actively take part in decision-making processes that affect their lives and speak up for themselves.
When children are abandoned and face living on streets (making them particularly vulnerable), we work with communities and partners to provide support and alternative care. We work with children, families and communities to instigate reconciliation wherever and whenever possible. We provide them with a safe place and environment to live.

Hello, I’m Ali. For nearly a decade, we’ve been lighting up the lives of abandoned children in Kinshasa, DR Congo, through our charity, Marc’s House. Our mission is simple, yet profound: to provide these children with the essentials they need to thrive - clothes to keep them warm, toys to spark their imagination, toiletries for their health, and school supplies to fuel their education.
